A multi-year full-stack contribution to a paid group-chat platform, spanning Flutter, a native iOS offline-messaging layer, backend services, and deployments.
Built a native iOS offline-messaging layer from scratch and contributed across the Flutter app, backend, deployments, and architecture evolution.

The Social App is a platform for regular and paid group chats on iOS and Android. That product combines a shared mobile experience with platform-specific behavior and backend services.
My engagement ran from December 2021 through December 2025. It covered ongoing product engineering across those layers, rather than a single screen or short prototype.
I worked across the Flutter codebase, backend services, deployments, growth engineering, and AI integrations. I also built a native iOS offline-messaging layer from scratch.
The project involved Flutter and Dart alongside native Swift and Kotlin, with backend technologies including Go, Java, and Docker. My responsibilities also included helping transition the application toward a leaner architecture as the product evolved.
The shared Flutter app and the native iOS messaging layer represent two different parts of the engineering scope. A cross-platform product still needs work at the operating-system boundary when its behavior depends on platform capabilities.
This engagement required moving between the mobile interface, native implementation, backend services, and release environment. That is the practical scope of full-stack mobile work: understanding how a feature reaches the user across the whole application.
The concrete contribution includes the native iOS offline-messaging layer and continued engineering across the application and services. The Product Hunt listing is linked as public product context.
This was a team product. This study does not attribute the platform’s launch performance to my work or claim a measured uplift in acquisition, engagement, or revenue.
